Time flies..... I'm baacckkkk!

Stephanie Danner this one is for you...

I know one person who enjoys my posts, and she isn't afraid to BE BOLD and tell me to get back to it.

If you remember, I wrote the longest post of my life a couple of months ago, and when I went to publish it, most of it was erased.  I think it was another loyal reader, Heidi, who told me it was probably meant for me and me only. It was about the loss of our rescue Maggie and how she was tragically killed after only having her in our lives for 37 days.  My family went through a lot during that timeframe... I miss her dearly.

You know how I always remind you that time waits for no one?  That has become even more clear this past year for me.  Another thing that has become clear is that I miss writing.  I am going to make the time to get back to it.  It makes me happy to know that you look forward to my posts.

If you follow me on Facebook, you know Jacob is now going to school in Florida.  That has been an interesting transition and I will dedicate a post all about it.  That empty nest hit HARD!!!

I typically don't write about politics but there will be a few posts coming up about that.  There is a great divide in our country and if we don't make changes now, it is going to get worse.  I often think about what Doris Jean would think about our current climate, and I know she wouldn't be happy. She was all about love, kindness, and respect, none of which I am seeing these days in our political world.

I will also be honoring the life of a friend, Barbara Ann, who passed too soon.

I have a lot to share, and I hope you share with me!

I will leave you with this funny..

We have had a very cold winter this year in Delaware.  Every day I would go to my car after work and look around at the cars started with their automatic starters.  I would think to myself, man, it would be nice if I had this feature.  A couple of weeks ago, Sean and I were headed out to dinner, and he opened the door that leads out to the garage, and my car started.  I get in the passenger seat and he gets in the driver's seat, and I ask him, how did the car start?  He said you push this button on the key fob.  I was like, no way! He says, you didn't know you had an automatic start option.  What did you think this button was for?  I was blown away!! I had no idea!!! He says, I am so sorry. I thought you knew. Nope, I sure didn't... How does this happen? HAHA!!!

Have a great weekend friends!  Be BOLD and be kind to yourself.
